BEHIND-THE-SCENES: Supper Club

Willowdale Estate is a 1901 Arts and Crafts stone mansion that sits on 4 acres in the 720-acre Bradley Palmer State Park. In the early years, the mansion was known for hosting many grand events with guests such as President Taft, the Prince of Wales and General Patton. Today, Willowdale Estate is a luxury venue and private caterer for on-site weddings and events year-round. We also host a popular series of public events, including our “Red Door Supper Club”.

Every other month, an exclusive group of guests gather in a private location behind the iconic red door at Willowdale Estate for a pop-up dinner. They experience a seasonal 4-course, chef inspired menu carefully paired with wines in our unforgettable historic setting.  This pop-up dinner attracts adventurous eaters because the menu remains a secret until the guests arrive at the event. If you are looking for a memorable dining experience, then this is the perfect event for you!

 

THE SCENE

To add to the allure of the event, the exact location within the house and the custom décor for the event is different from your typical dinner or reception. With seating for only 36 guests, our supper club guests enjoy an intimate experience with plenty of opportunities for our servers to impress.

 

THE MENU

Our menu is centered on four courses each paired with wine and surprises along the way. The ingredients are based on a local, seasonal approach which allows our chef complete creative freedom to display modern presentations and techniques.
