Spring-spiration

Still deciding on the color theme for your wedding? Become inspired with these spring inspired color palettes and some tips to integrate them into your event!

ENTICING EARTH TONES

Green, gray and purple may not be a color combination you’ve considered before – but they create a strong palette perfect for nature lovers! Let dark gray hues act as the base for sea foam green and lush lavender accent colors. A non-traditional bouquet of succulents, greenery and herbs will stand out against bold gray bridesmaids dresses. Take it to another level by engaging the senses of your guests with sprigs of lavender and sage leaves used for ceremony aisle décor, favors and refreshing signature drinks, like Lavender Lemonade!

TINTS OF TULIPS

During the month of May, the tulips in our whimsical butterfly garden courtyard are in full bloom. Along with our Sperry sailcloth tent and the estate’s fieldstone architecture inspired by castles in Aberdeen Scotland, a “Secret Garden” atomsphere is emulated. If you’re looking for a vibrant palette inspired by the colors of spring – let the seasonal flowers & fruit help define your theme. Scenic surroundings combined with rich hues of greens, peach, coral and purple create an upbeat party atmosphere. Incorporate these bright pops of colors in the groomsmen boutonnieres, centerpieces and  bouquet wraps!

POPS OF PASTELS

Cool pastel floral accents are romantic and serene especially when paired with darker contrasting colors like this periwinkle cake displayed underneath our bistro lights at the start of twilight. Neutral hues of mauve, greige, pink, green and blue could be used for individual bridesmaids dresses or shoe colors that match the groomsmen’s bowties. Don’t stop there – you could even use the neutral colors to vary the table linen. A dessert station can also serve as a decorate display – incorporate mini bite size macaroons in a progression of color to create a pastel rainbow of color that looks almost too good to eat!
