PLANNING FOR PROM
Willowdale Estate is a great option for this years prom season! Our custom sail cloth Sperry Tent is available for use May through October and offers flooring, side panels, heating, fans and lighting. Guests will also enjoy exclusive use of our historic property for a 5 hour reception with access to our 1901 Arts & Craft Mansion.
In order to make the planning process as easy as possible, we have just about everything you need for your event already on-site! We include cocktail and reception tables, furniture for food stations, floor length ivory linens, white garden chairs, glassware and flatware! Upgrade options including centerpiece rentals, farm tables and chiavari chairs are also available!
Our on-site gourmet caterer, WILLOWDALE KITCHENS offers an extensive list of culinary offerings to please every students palette and your dining experience can be customized with our flexible menu. Perhaps you want to offer food stations, a plated meal or a cocktail style reception – we can accommodate all of these requests!
For even more entertainment, we offer a variety of lawn games that can be set up on the lawn and garden courtyard adjoining our tent including cornhole, giant jenga, connect four and more!

PR Potential – If you are launching a new product, branch, or honoring a colleague, you may want to hire a photographer or videographer to capture all the highlights (we have a whole list of preferred vendors we can provide you). Willowdale Estate also offers many rental amenities to choose from including a large video monitor, projector screen and a wireless mic for any meetings, speeches or announcements.
A well planned menu that offers a variety of food options will keep your guests talking about your event for weeks to come. FALL WEDDING STYLE
The Autumnal Equinox was on September 23rd marking the official start of fall so we thought we could give you a look back at a wedding that was almost exactly 1 year ago. Ali and Andrew’s wedding day style is rustic and romantic, using pretty details like lanterns, burlap, and lace.
Ali’s wedding day look is the definition of pin-worthy. A loosely braided chignon with the elegant neckline the lace trimmed Romona Keveza wedding dress. The intricate textures and unique blooms featured in the bride’s bouquet from Dogwood Floral Design are lovely, and we loved how the natural ivory bridesmaids’ dresses helped the pops of color in the flowers to jump out. This burgundy color is very close to the pantone color marsala and we love these deep reds for autumn weddings– it really is a perfect fall color!
COCKTAIL HOUR DÉCOR
The personal style of the wedding party worked with the décor perfectly. As guests entered the house they saw a tall floral design with ceremony programs and a welcome sign. The handwritten sign, escort cards and details around the house were made with help from Ali’s mom! Guests enjoyed His & Her Signature Sips and a selection of passed appetizers and our curated cheese and crudités display.
Our sperry tent was lit with bistro lights hanging from the center poles and a collection of large lanterns and votives with real candles. Using a mixture of farm tables with burlap and ivory runners, and round tables with ivory linens the tent looked perfectly romantic and effortlessly rustic. With just a touch of flowers, some pretty white pumpkins, and birch table number holders this table is both interesting and elegant.
