2024 Tent Season Highlights
We’ve gathered some of our favorite wedding moments to share from the most recent tent season at Willowdale Estate. Between May through October couples can enjoy full use of our 1902 arts and crafts-style estate, beautiful garden courtyard, and custom Sperry tent, which can accommodate between 140-240 guests.
The garden courtyard provides a bucolic setting for an outdoor ceremony. Guests love the historic character of our mansion for cocktail hour and dessert, and the Sperry tent with natural sailcloth canopy and smooth concrete tent flooring is the perfect setting for dinner and dancing. A covered walkway connects our tent and the mansion, and floor-length clear side panels, and tent heaters are included for inclement weather.

There are several beautiful estate wedding venues in New England, but after 17 years in business, we've mastered the elements that matter most! Here are the essentials for every wedding at Willowdale Estate:
- We offer in-house catering, and many clients and guests say it’s the “best wedding food they have ever had”.
- We are open year-round and include a beautiful Sperry tent with our outdoor wedding season. Our winter weddings are in our glass conservatory and great room, the perfect backdrop for an intimate indoor wedding.
- We are just 30 miles north of Boston, Massachusetts. Our clients and guests come from all over the globe, the north of Boston area is a great place to gather with plenty of things to do before and after the main event.
- Our venue is very private – we’re located by a river in a state park with a 700-acre forest!
- Our full-service approach to weddings includes an event coordinator to guide our clients through the planning process and assist with every major moment leading up to the wedding day.
- We make an excellent chocolate chip cookie, and it's included with dessert at every wedding.
