Here’s what the couple had to say about planning their wedding menu.
- What was it like working with the team at Willowdale Estate to plan your menu? “It was great!…the Willowdale staff was excellent to work with, understood and took an active role in meeting our needs, and we could tell that they did their best. The end result was some of the most delicious food that I have ever had at an event/wedding.”
- Were there any special requests or concerns you had throughout the menu planning process? “Chef Kate embraced the challenge and created the most tasty Thai green curry dish (I am still dreaming about it today). There were some other dishes that have been modified with little changes where the Willowdale went the extra mile to help make our dreams come true, in example the egg rolls were veganized by using an egg-free wrapper. Mushroom caps were filled with a vegan filling. These tweaks were executed skillfully and our guests are still complimenting us on how good the food was!!”
- How was the food at your wedding? What was your favorite item? “The food at my wedding was something that I am very proud of! It was so amazing!! My favorite were: hearts of palm rangoon, vegetable spring roll, cauliflower bites (these were already on the menu and they were FANTASTIC), that phenomenal Butternut curry soup, and of course the newly crafted Thai tofu green curry!!!”
